Shipping & Delivery

All items are sent via Australia Post. Please ensure your address is correct at the time of ordering to assist in quick dispatch and to avoid delays.
Turnaround time for dispatch is 3-5 days as this allows me to blend your oils make your products, label, wrap and ready for dispatch. You are very welcome to request express post (Australia Only) at an extra cost and a link will be sent to you via email for payment.

As at 1st March, 2023 ALL parcels going to the EU will require a full name and a phone number which is now required by law for all parcels going through customs in your country.

AUSTRALIA - As I live rural NT please allow approx 10 - 13 business days for delivery after dispatch.
Once your parcel has been dispatched I upload tracking to your order and an automated email is sent to you via the email address you supplied at the time of ordering. You will also get a second email confirming your tracking number from Ready To Ship.  Australia Post will also send you an automated email with tracking number and details. You also get a further email once it has been accepted by Australia Post and scanned in WE'VE GOT IT. Sounds a little like overkill but these 4 steps are done to ensure you are able to track your parcel at all times and when to expect your delivery.
If you are not home at the time of delivery Australia Post will leave a card for you to collect your items at your local Post Office (well they should do but keep an eye on your tracking). Parcels are only held for a maximum of 10 days after which time it will be returned to sender. Please note that the buyer is responsible for a $12 RETURN TO SENDER fee for each returned parcel should you not collect it from your post office in due time.
EXPRESS POST - Australia Only -  If your order is urgent you are very welcome to have it express posted to you. Please send an email request for charges and payment link and advise when you need it by so it can be pushed ahead of other orders and made and dispatched in time for your expected delivery date.

INTERNATIONAL - Your parcel travels from me in Darwin to Sydney where our international customs will clear your parcel and put it on a plane for its happy journey to you. Please allow approx 10 business days from dispatch for it to travel from Darwin to Sydney via road as this is a distance of over 5000kms. Once it clears our customs in Australia it will then be passed on to your local postal delivery carrier to take over and deliver your parcel.
For example -
Simply put your tracking number into your postal carrier's website for up to date delivery information. Most parcels will arrive in approx 20-35 days from customs clearance but again you can track your delivery by using your tracking number supplied on dispatch. Any problems please send me an email and I will assist you immediately.

Customs fees & associated taxes for your country (excepting Australia where gst is included in the price) are to be paid by you the buyer. If you refuse delivery or simply do not collect your parcel and it is returned you (the buyer) are liable for return to sender postage charges that will be deducted from your refund.

CHRISTMAS - NEW YEAR - PUBLIC HOLIDAYS - House of Candles never closes. I am open all year round but please be mindful on delivery times due to public holidays and post office closures.
